Our verdict on Pro-cess

Pro-cess is cloud-based business management software for UK events and catering operators, including corporate caterers, wedding businesses, private dining companies and mobile bars. Its workflow spans enquiry-to-booking, menu and package quoting, deposits, milestone payment reminders, staff rotas, kit checklists, supplier orders, customer records, communications and post-event invoicing. Small teams can use it to connect sales, planning and event-day administration in one web-based system, with API access available on higher plans.

The published plans start with Starter at £30 per month or £300 per year. It includes unlimited customers, unlimited quotes and invoices, Google Calendar sync, PDF generation, online booking, a product catalogue and direct debit payments. Professional costs £90 per month or £900 per year and adds unlimited appointments, a unified inbox, route optimisation, advanced analytics, leave approval and activity tracking. Business is £190 per month or £1,900 per year, adding API access, a custom domain, organisation charts and departments, a customer portal and custom email signatures. Enterprise includes generous unlimited limits, bespoke development, priority support and an SLA, plus a dedicated account manager. A 14-day free trial is available.

Platform fit is a clear strength for operators already using common payment, accounting, messaging and mapping services. Pro-cess lists Stripe, GoCardless, SumUp, Xero, QuickBooks, Google Calendar, Twilio and Google Maps integrations, alongside SMS and email communications and a REST API on higher plans. Its category coverage is broad rather than limited to booking: proposal building, headcount-based pricing, staff scheduling, order workflows and event execution tools are all included. Choose it when a small catering business needs connected booking and operational workflows at a relatively low starting price. Teams that need advanced controls, integrations or customer-facing features should budget for Professional or Business rather than Starter.
