Our verdict on Pomo

Pomo is a browser-based calling layer for teams that want call coaching and scorecards alongside an existing CRM. It is aimed at sales teams, including use cases the vendor describes in insurance, real estate, roofing, recruiting and freight brokerage. Calls can be scored against configurable objectives and rubrics, with per-objective scores, strengths and growth areas. That makes Pomo more specifically suited to reviewing and coaching phone conversations than to managing quality across a broad customer-service operation.

The workflow combines live transcripts with contextual suggested lines and objection flags during calls. Afterward, recordings, searchable transcripts and AI summaries provide material for review, while scorecards can be placed on the relevant CRM record. Teams can queue records, capture queue reasons, schedule callbacks, and route inbound calls or callbacks to the CRM record owner. The listed integrations are Twenty CRM, HubSpot, Pipedrive and Zoho CRM; the product is cloud-based and listed for web. White-glove CRM setup is included, and the vendor says it can be done without CRM migration, which fits teams seeking a calling layer rather than a CRM replacement.

According to the vendor's pricing description, the price is quoted based on seats and call volume, and telephony minutes are passed through at cost. The listed plan, The plan, includes live coaching and objective tracking, a scorecard on every call against a configurable rubric, recording, transcription and AI summaries, call queue and callbacks, and white-glove onboarding. Buyers should weigh both the quote-based model and usage-based telephony cost against their call volume. Pomo is a better fit for small or mid-market teams focused on sales-call execution and CRM-linked coaching; organizations seeking QA across multiple service channels should consider a broader-focused tool.
