Our verdict on PlanetReg
PlanetReg is a cloud-based event registration service for organizers running conferences, seminars, races, charity events, reunions, camps, association meetings and other events. It supports customizable registration forms, conditional registration logic, multiple attendee types, session and track selection, ticket production, check-in management and attendee reporting. The product fits small, mid-market and enterprise organizations, with a free Basic mode for free events and a usage-priced Pro mode for broader requirements.
The plan structure is straightforward. Basic mode is free but has limited feature access and is positioned for free events. Pro adds all features, unlimited registrations, sessions and tickets, and payment collection. Registration can accept credit cards, PayPal, checks and pay-at-door payments. PlanetReg also supports discount codes and promotional pricing, while its payment ecosystem includes gateways such as Stripe, Authorize.Net, Elavon - Converge, eWAY, Fat Zebra and MX Merchant.
