Our verdict on PKForge

PKForge is an open-source Pokémon save editor and cross-game bank for Android devices, including dual-screen handhelds. It is aimed at players managing saves from supported emulators or individual files, with tools for Pokémon data, inventory, trainer information, gifts, and storage. The supported game list includes Pokémon Unbound, Pokémon Compass, Pokémon Colosseum, Pokémon XD, Pokémon FireRed, and Pokémon LeafGreen.

Its ecosystem fit is a key strength. PKForge can open saves from RetroArch, melonDS, Azahar, Eden, Dolphin, DraStic, Pizza Boy A, Pizza Boy C, and Linkboy, then export save files directly from the app. The workflow also includes Showdown import and export, QR-code support, an offline mystery-gift database, community event boxes, and a cross-game bank with unlimited themed boxes. For Android emulator workflows, that combination keeps editing, transfer, and storage in one focused tool.

The feature depth goes beyond basic stat changes. Users can edit moves, Met/Origin data, Tera type, Hyper Training, bag items, and personal bag presets, while Pokédex and trainer-card tools cover additional save data.
