Our verdict on PIXO VR
PIXO VR helps organizations create, source, distribute and manage immersive workforce training across VR and other devices. Its tools cover learner and assignment management, live-session oversight, progress tracking and analytics. The platform is aimed at mid-market and enterprise training programs, including organizations in manufacturing, energy, construction, hospitality and education. Hardware-agnostic headset compatibility and multiplayer sessions suit teams delivering group training, while organizations seeking a low-cost or individual VR learning tool are less aligned with its published packages.
The annual plans add capabilities in stages. Start costs $14,999 per year and includes unlimited sessions, a choice of 3 PIXO Trainings, the PIXO Hub App and MDM, plus onboarding and tech support. Growth costs $24,999 per year and adds the PIXO Trainer App, training rosters and user management, and training analytics. Team costs $49,999 per year and adds LMS integration, hosting for proprietary VR content, Hub App white labeling and 1 PIXO AI Builder license. Enterprise offers custom packages and pricing. Start's 50-active-monthly-user limit and the cost of entry make this a substantial commitment; headsets are separate.
Its ecosystem is designed for managed organizational programs: PIXO supports LMS integration and training data transfer, SAML and OAuth single sign-on, and deployment across web, Android, iOS, Windows and macOS. Training content can be assigned and monitored, and trainers can oversee live sessions; low-code module building offers a way to create in-house immersive training. Phone, email, documentation and ticket support are listed, alongside SOC 2 compliance. PIXO VR is a stronger fit for organizations coordinating structured training across learners and devices than for teams that need a smaller, inexpensive VR tool or only a limited standalone experience.
