Pinger Man is a web-based monitoring service for website maintainers, developers, and teams. It covers website and service checks including HTTP, ping, DNS, keyword, SSL, port, WHOIS, synthetic, and related monitor types. Monitoring includes uptime, response time, latency, SSL certificate validation, and expiry alerts. Alerts can be delivered through email, SMS, Slack, Twitter, and webhooks, while public status pages, weekly summary reports, maintenance windows, and a REST API support operational workflows.

The pricing structure is unusually accessible for teams that need several monitoring methods without a large starting commitment. The Free plan provides five monitors, five-minute monitoring, multiple check types, and email alerts. Solo costs $1 per month and provides 10 monitors, one-minute monitoring, SMS and Slack alerts, status pages, custom HTTP headers and codes, and HTTP authentication. Team costs $20 per month for 200 monitors, webhook alerts, maintenance windows, custom domains, and three team members.
