PHPPayroll is payroll and HR management software for startups, small businesses, mid-sized companies, and enterprises. It combines automated salary calculations with attendance, working hours, shifts, overtime, leave, payslips, tax deductions, compliance reporting, expenses, recruitment, performance, loans, and employee self-service. Technical teams may find the open-source, self-hosted edition particularly suitable when customization and deployment control matter. A hosted cloud edition is also available for organizations that prefer a managed option.
Pricing is straightforward across three monthly plans. Starter costs $9.99 per month and includes all features, unlimited employees, unlimited payslips and records, 5 GB of SSD web space, and 256-bit SSL encryption. Standard Plan costs $19.99 per month and keeps all features and unlimited employees while increasing storage to 15 GB and specifying unlimited payslips and reports. Enterprise Payroll costs $26.99 per month, includes all features and unlimited employees, and provides 20 GB of SSD web space with unlimited payslips and financial records.
