Our verdict on Photo Editor-

Photo Editor- is a freemium photo editing app from Axiem Systems for casual users who want AI-assisted adjustments alongside conventional creative tools. It supports iPhone, iPad, Mac, Vision Pro and Android devices, with a feature set spanning natural-language edits, background removal and replacement, subject and object selection, retouching, filters, effects, stickers, text, drawing, frames, collages and a built-in camera. High-resolution image import and export also make it suitable for everyday photo work across mobile and desktop devices.

Its standout feature is prompt-based editing. Users can describe changes such as altering hair color, removing a background or changing a sky, while dedicated AI tools cover selection and replacement tasks. The editor also includes practical retouching for blemishes, red-eye and teeth whitening, plus downloadable filter packs and live camera filters. This combination favors quick, directed edits over a narrowly focused specialist workflow, giving casual creators several ways to adjust and decorate images in one app.

The Free plan costs USD 0 and is ad-supported, with AI tools available to try. Pro adds no ads, Premium Editor and Collages, and a free trial. Pro Version is offered as an in-app purchase, while Pro + AI includes everything in Pro along with AI editing tools. The upgrade structure makes the free tier a reasonable starting point for basic exploration, while users seeking an ad-free experience or expanded AI access should consider a paid option. Photo Editor- fits solo users and small teams that value platform coverage and accessible edits; users needing a specialized professional production workflow should look elsewhere.
