Ovatu is salon and appointment-business management software for salons, beauty businesses, wellness providers, and similar operators. It brings online booking, staff scheduling, customer records, automated email and SMS reminders, payments, point of sale, marketing, reporting, consultation forms, inventory, gift cards, and prepaid passes into one product. Businesses can offer booking through a customizable minisite and manage appointments, availability, staff rosters, sales, and communications across web, macOS, iOS, and Android.
Pricing is organized into two monthly plans. Neat costs $25 per month for the first employee and includes appointments, online booking, point of sale, reminders, waitlists, and customer reviews. Loaded costs $38 per month and includes all Neat features, plus campaigns, passes, gift cards, promo codes, and loyalty. A 30-day trial is available, while additional employee charges are listed separately. The plan structure suits salons that want a defined entry tier, although businesses needing marketing and retention tools must choose the higher plan.
Its broad operational scope is the main reason to consider Ovatu. Scheduling includes availability management, rescheduling, buffers, waitlists, and resource scheduling, while staff tools cover shifts, breaks, leave, and availability. Customer profiles can hold appointment history, notes, forms, photos, balances, and sales. Inventory includes stocktakes and purchase orders, and reporting supports CSV or JSON export. Integrations include PayPal, PayPal Here, Zoom, Square, SumUp, Stripe, SendPulse, Mailchimp, Slack, Facebook, Instagram, calendar feeds, and Reserve with Google. Ovatu fits salons seeking many connected business functions; a smaller operation wanting only basic appointment booking may not need its wider feature set.
