Our verdict on Openprovider
Openprovider is a domain reseller platform for hosting providers, agencies, MSPs, and other digital service businesses. Its Reseller Control Panel centralizes domains, DNS, SSL, email, and related services, while the platform supports registration, renewal, transfer, bulk transfers, and DNS management. With access to 2,000 TLDs, a REST API, and web and API platforms, it is aimed at businesses that need to manage domain services across their own customer operations.
Pricing is organized across three annual paid plans. Basic S costs $49.99 per year and includes wholesale domain pricing, full API and WHMCS module access, and the complete product catalogue. Basic M costs $199.99 per year and adds the full Membership catalogue alongside wholesale pricing. Basic L costs $499.99 per year and includes the Membership catalogue and support for high-volume operations. There is no free plan. The published plans make Basic S the entry point for API-led and WHMCS-connected reselling, while the higher tiers target broader catalogue access and larger operational volume.
Integration breadth is a central strength. Openprovider connects with WHMCS, Blesta, HostFact, HostBill, Upmind, Clientexec, Atomia, and ISP BillManager. Its API covers domains, DNS, SSL, billing, licenses, and customers, and the sandbox environment supports API testing before deployment. Two-factor authentication adds an account-security control, while white-label email management supports branded service delivery. The platform does not provide a fully white-labeled storefront, so businesses seeking a turnkey branded storefront should look elsewhere. Openprovider is a strong fit for established resellers that already operate a website, checkout, or billing stack and need broad domain infrastructure rather than a standalone storefront.
