Our verdict on OpenLAP

OpenLAP is a free, open-source learning analytics platform from the Social Computing Group at the University of Duisburg-Essen. It is aimed at teachers, students, researchers, and teams that need to design and implement custom learning analytics indicators. The platform supports both cloud and self-hosted deployment, making it suitable for projects that want an open implementation rather than a conventional commercial package.
