OnTrackio review
Broad ITAM coverage with strong request workflows, but a high entry price and 500-asset limit.

OnTrackio is a cloud IT asset management platform for mid-market IT teams managing hardware, software, licenses, contracts, users, and assignments. Its scope covers endpoint discovery for Windows and macOS, hardware ownership and lifecycle records, software utilization, renewal alerts, employee asset requests, approval workflows, onboarding kits, offboarding, audit logs, and compliance evidence exports. It is a fit for organizations that want ITAM connected to employee service workflows rather than a standalone inventory register.
The annual plans scale by asset capacity, security controls, support, and operational depth. Starter costs $2,600 per year and includes unlimited admins and IT users, Google and Microsoft SSO, renewal alerts, and 30-day activity-log retention, with a 500-asset limit. Business costs $13,000 per year and adds evidence packs, WebAuthn passkeys, priority email and chat support, and imports from CSV, Snipe-IT, and Lansweeper. Enterprise costs $39,000 per year and adds unlimited assets, SAML 2.0 SSO, SCIM 2.0, IP allowlists, a custom SLA, and a named CSM. The pricing structure makes the product easier to justify for teams that need its workflow and compliance features, but less appealing for smaller inventories.
Integration coverage is a central part of the product’s operating model. OnTrackio connects with Google Workspace, Microsoft, Okta, Microsoft Entra, Intune, Jamf, Munki, Slack, Snipe-IT, Lansweeper, ServiceNow, and SupportCandy. CSV and JSON exports support reporting and compliance processes, while regional data residency and identity integrations support organizational requirements. Choose OnTrackio when employee requests, endpoint discovery, license utilization, contracts, and audit evidence need to work together. Consider an alternative if the organization has fewer than 500 assets, needs only basic inventory, or cannot support the annual cost of the paid tiers.
