Our verdict on Ohhi
Ohhi is a private photo and video storage service for families, friends, and individual users. It combines a chronological photo timeline with shared albums limited to invited people, helping users keep personal media separate from broadly accessible social platforms. Photos and videos can be uploaded in original quality, and mobile upload is available on iOS and Android. Ohhi also provides web access, European server hosting, and private storage subscriptions that can be shared across up to six accounts.
The pricing structure is unusually accessible for users who need modest capacity. The Free plan includes 1 GB of storage, photo and video trials, text posts, and access to shared albums. Start provides 10 GB and sharing for up to six people at €0.50 per month or €6 per year. Plus raises capacity to 25 GB for €1.99 per month or €19 per year, with the same sharing allowance. Pro includes 100 GB, six-account sharing, and optional face recognition for €5.99 per month or €59 per year. Max adds 1 TB with the same sharing and face-recognition features for €14.99 per month. These tiers make Ohhi a fit for families comparing storage capacity against recurring cost.
Platform coverage is practical rather than specialized: Ohhi works through the web, iOS, and Android, with video backup and shared albums included among its core capabilities. The service’s private sharing model limits album access to invited people, while optional face recognition adds organization assistance on the higher-capacity plans. The main trade-off is scale at the entry level: 1 GB may suit a small library or initial trial, but larger collections require a paid tier. Users seeking affordable private storage, mobile backup, original-quality uploads, and family sharing should consider Ohhi; users needing more than six shared accounts should look elsewhere.
