Offcloud is a cloud-based download manager for people who want servers to retrieve files from remote links and supported streaming sources. It handles HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, and BitTorrent links, including magnet links and .torrent files, then stores downloads temporarily in the cloud. Users can also send files to third-party storage or capture public web pages as HTML or PDF. It is a better fit for remote-download and transfer workflows than for maintaining a conventional permanent file-hosting library.
The pricing structure is straightforward. A free plan is available, while 30 Days Premium costs $9.99 for a fixed 30-day period. The 365 Days Premium plan costs $79.99 for a fixed 365-day period. Premium features include parallel downloads and unmetered downloads without stated speed throttling. The plans are period-based rather than organized around storage capacity, making the service more relevant to download activity than long-term file retention.
Offcloud connects with Google Drive, Dropbox, FTP, and WebDAV for remote uploads, and it is delivered through the web and API. Downloaded files are temporary and automatically deleted according to account or plan settings, so retention needs should be considered before choosing it. Cloud sync is currently unavailable, which further separates Offcloud from broader file-hosting and synchronization services. Choose it for protocol coverage, torrent handling, web capture, and cloud transfers; choose an alternative if permanent storage, wider platform coverage, or active sync is central to your workflow.
