Our verdict on Novaru
Novaru is browser-based salon and spa management software for businesses that want memberships, packages, billing, appointments, online booking, inventory, payroll, expenses, reporting, and GST exports in one system. It is particularly suited to Indian salons that sell prepaid memberships or packages: the membership features include prepaid balances, member pricing, and package wallets that automatically draw down during billing. Staff can also manage waitlists, WhatsApp messages, attendance, service incentives, and role-based access with audit trails.
Pricing is structured around three paid tiers. NovaruOne costs ₹1,499 per month or ₹17,988 per year and includes unlimited bills and staff logins, booking tools, memberships, packages, offers, cashback, inventory, payroll, reports, P&L, and GST exports. NovaruOne Plus costs ₹1,999 per month or ₹19,990 per year and adds Novaru AI, history migration by Novaru, and priority support. NovaruOne Pro costs ₹2,499 per month or ₹24,990 per year and adds consent-aware WhatsApp with delivery records, online deposits and full payment at booking, a custom booking domain, and an enhanced booking page. The annual options keep the same core feature sets as their monthly counterparts.
Its breadth is a major reason to consider it: billing can cover services, products, packages, memberships, wallets, offers, and cashback, while operational tools extend into purchase orders, vendor records, low-stock tracking, leave, profitability, and owner reports. Integrations include WhatsApp Business, Instagram, and Google, and offline billing supports continued work when connectivity returns. Choose NovaruOne for a broad salon operating system centered on memberships and package wallets. Choose Plus or Pro when migration support, AI, enhanced messaging, deposits, or booking customization matter; businesses seeking a free plan or a non-web platform should look elsewhere.
