Nomic Embed API provides hosted endpoints for Nomic’s text and vision embedding models. Text and image inputs can be converted into vectors, and the service is accessed over HTTP with a Nomic API key or through the official Python client. The standout capability is the combination of text and image embeddings for cross-modal retrieval. Teams can generate vectors for both modalities, search across text and images, and configure embedding dimensionality for different storage or retrieval designs.
