Mtrix is an ecommerce analytics and experimentation platform for direct-to-consumer brands. It brings shopper behavior analysis and testing into one web-based product, with click, scroll, and attention heatmaps; DOM-reconstructed session replay; revenue, conversion, and funnel analytics; error tracking; real-user performance monitoring; page building; and A/B testing. Teams can review desktop, mobile, and tablet experiences, filter sessions by behavior and traffic source, and connect observed issues to experiments. It runs through a JavaScript SDK on existing stores and also offers hosted storefront-building capabilities.

Pricing starts with a Free plan at $0 per month, covering up to 100,000 monthly visitors, 1,000,000 events, one project, unlimited seats, 1,000 session replays per month, and 14-day replay retention. Starter costs $700 per month and adds 5,000,000 events, unlimited experiments, and unlimited session replay with 30-day retention. Growth is $1,800 per month for up to 300,000 visitors, 20,000,000 events, three projects, and three-month replay retention. Scale costs $3,200 per month for up to 1,000,000 visitors, 60,000,000 events, 10 projects, and six-month retention. Enterprise is $6,000 per month with 1,000,000+ visitors, custom events, unlimited projects, and 12-month retention.

Its main strength is breadth: Mtrix covers behavior discovery, performance signals, audience targeting, multi-armed bandits, visual page building, and A/B, multivariate, split-URL, and masked-URL experiments. Rage-click filtering, mobile capture, and sensitive-field controls add useful analysis and recording options. The tradeoff is a focused ecosystem: Shopify is the listed integration, and the platform is web-only. Teams that want a combined analytics and experimentation workspace for ecommerce may find the feature range compelling, especially on the Free plan. Teams that need broader integrations or a lower-cost paid testing tier should consider an alternative.
