Our verdict on miTT Nextcloud
miTT Nextcloud is a managed Nextcloud hosting service from mittl medien for freelancers, agencies, small teams, professional practices, law firms, and associations that want hosted file collaboration without operating their own server. It combines file storage and synchronization with calendars, contacts, browser-based office editing, and video and voice conferencing through Talk. Access is available on the web, Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android, while customer-owned domains can use an SSL certificate.
Pricing is organized by hosted instance rather than per user, with user counts freely selectable. Business costs €9 per month for 1 TB, Professional costs €45 per month for 5 TB, and Enterprise costs €89 per month for 10 TB. All three plans include daily backups, an optional own domain, and a seven-day free trial. Selectable apps are listed for Professional and Enterprise. Prices are net amounts plus VAT. The product page lists monthly cancellation, while the hosting terms specify a minimum one-year term and cancellation three months before the term ends, so buyers should review those terms before committing.
Migration is a clear fit for organizations moving from Dropbox, Google Drive, or OneDrive, with assistance available for those services. The platform also covers common collaboration needs through Office, Talk, calendar and contact synchronization, and file sharing. Security-related features include server-side encryption and two-factor authentication, while daily backups add operational protection; backup retention duration is not specified. miTT Nextcloud suits teams that want broad Nextcloud functionality, selectable users, and substantial storage without server administration. Buyers seeking a free tier, a per-user pricing model, or support beyond email should consider other options.
