Mint Service Desk is a web-based IT service management platform for internal IT teams, service desks, and organizations supporting multiple departments. It brings ticket and queue management, incident and problem records, SLA tracking, asset management, knowledge-base access, customer portals, reporting, automation, and integrations into one system. Teams can deploy it as a cloud service or on their own infrastructure, with support for internal or external customers through email, portals, and other communication channels.

The plan structure covers both cloud and self-hosted requirements. Cloud Lite includes ticket management, email integration, internal private notes, priorities, and multi-channel communication, while Cloud Pro adds asset management and SLA capabilities. On-Premises Lite includes unlimited agents, custom fields, a customer portal, and identity-provider integration. On-Premises Pro adds automation, approvals, API access, reports, and time tracking. Enterprise includes unlimited agents, asset management, API access, reports, optional custom development, and baramundi integration. Email, Active Directory/Azure AD, baramundi, and Lansweeper support broaden its ecosystem fit.

For problem management, the published feature set includes incident and problem ticket types, response, workaround, and resolution timing within SLA tracking, configurable statuses, workflows, CMDB support, and related service-desk functions. Documentation describes Problem Management among features being developed and tested, so organizations seeking a deeply specialized root-cause and known-error practice should assess the current implementation carefully. Mint Service Desk is a strong fit for teams that want deployment choice and broad service-desk coverage; teams prioritizing a mature, narrowly focused problem-management workflow may prefer an alternative.
