Our verdict on MineralTree

MineralTree provides accounts payable automation and payment solutions through its TotalAP product. It is designed for finance teams, particularly at mid-market and enterprise organizations, that need to manage invoice intake, approvals, purchase-order matching, ERP updates, and supplier payments in one workflow. Invoices can enter by email or manual upload, while OCR-based capture handles both header-level and line-level data with human verification.

Its strongest fit is with organizations operating across varied accounting environments. MineralTree integrates with Intuit QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics GP, Acumatica, Sage 50, Sage 100, Sage X3, Deltek, MIP Fund Accounting, and Xero. Two-way ERP synchronization covers invoices, payments, vendors, and status updates. Configurable approval routing and tiered approval rules support controlled review processes, while automated and manual purchase-order matching address different procurement workflows. Multi-entity accounting workflows add value for finance teams overseeing more than one entity.

The payment side is also broad, with ACH, checks, virtual cards, and international wires available as supplier payment methods. According to the vendor’s pricing model, access is quote-based rather than offered through a free plan or a published paid tier. That makes MineralTree more suitable for organizations evaluating a formal AP automation deployment than for small teams seeking a self-serve product with transparent entry pricing. Teams should choose it when ERP coverage, invoice controls, payment execution, and multi-entity support are priorities. A narrower or more self-service alternative may be a better fit for buyers who want public pricing, a free plan, or platforms beyond the web.
