MIDAS is a web-based room and resource scheduling system for businesses, schools, venues, libraries and multi-site organizations. It manages bookable rooms, facilities, equipment and other resources, with browser-based booking for staff and public request forms for visitors. Organizations can choose hosting by MIDAS or install it on their own web server, making it relevant to teams with different deployment preferences.
The booking workflow covers real-time availability and conflict prevention, plus drag-and-drop creation, rescheduling and copying. Custom user permissions and multi-user access help organizations define how people work with bookings. Calendar synchronization and imports include Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook, with iCal-compatible apps also supported. Notifications include confirmations, email updates and reminders. Optional digital signage can show live room bookings or availability on screens; the feature set also includes room panel support. This breadth fits organizations coordinating several kinds of shared resources, though a team looking only for a simple room calendar may find the broader scheduling scope unnecessary.
MIDAS is paid software with a 30-day trial and no free plan. According to the vendor's pricing information, charges depend on venue and user-account counts; the published pricing page does not provide selectable amounts. The product lists integrations including Active Directory, SAML 2.0, Stripe, PayPal, Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, Sage, Xero and Zoho. Stripe and PayPal support online payments, while invoice generation is also included. Documentation is the listed support channel. Choose MIDAS if room coordination, public booking requests, payment workflows or self-hosting matter; consider a narrower tool if those capabilities and the resource-management breadth are more than your organization needs.
