Our verdict on Meteored
Meteored brings forecasts, radar and weather alerts to Android, with coverage for more than 6 million locations. It is suited to people who want a longer-range outlook alongside near-term hourly details, storm tracking and official warnings. The free plan includes forecasts for over 5 million locations, a weather map viewer, real-time radar, alerts and weather news and videos. Home-screen widgets add a way to keep forecast information visible outside the app.
The forecast and radar range is a notable part of Meteored's offer: forecasts extend to 14 days, and future radar reaches six days. Live rain radar and animated maps complement hurricane and storm tracking. This mix makes the app relevant to users who want both a general forecast and tools for following changing weather. Those focused primarily on a simple short-range forecast may not need the extended radar and tracking features.
The Free plan includes ads, while Premium costs $7.99 per year and removes them, adds 24-hour radar, gives priority for reviews and feedback, and allows up to 30 saved locations. Pro is a standalone app priced at $29.99 as a one-time payment, with Premium features plus a lighter app and higher priority. Premium is the lower-cost route for ad-free use; Pro suits buyers who prefer a one-time purchase and a separate app. Choose Meteored for broad coverage, future radar and alerts; consider another option if you need a platform beyond Android.
