Meross is a mobile app for setting up and managing compatible Meross smart-home devices, including bulbs, plugs, switches, garage-door openers and thermostats. Available on iOS and Android, it suits households that want a single place for device control and basic automation within the Meross ecosystem. The app is free and supports remote on/off control over the internet, alongside schedules and scenes. It is a companion to Meross hardware rather than a general-purpose controller for smart-home products across brands.

Integration is a practical strength for owners who also use Apple Home, Amazon Alexa, Google Home or Samsung SmartThings: the app can link Meross devices with voice-assistant platforms. Matter devices can be set up through the Meross app, but Matter support is specific to some Meross devices, so buyers should check compatibility for the hardware they plan to add. The app also checks for and updates device firmware. Those functions make it more useful as an ongoing device-management layer than as a one-time setup utility.

Automation and monitoring are useful but have device-specific boundaries.
