memberplanet is a cloud-based membership and association management platform for associations, nonprofits, schools, fraternal groups, and faith-based organizations. It combines member records, membership levels, recurring dues, renewals, reminders, dashboards, websites, payment forms, events, fundraising, communications, surveys, directories, reporting, and mobile access. The Basic plan provides a basic account with unlimited members and unlimited admins, making the product a practical fit for groups that need core membership operations without a paid subscription.
Its breadth is the main reason to consider it. Administrators can use custom fields, search, segmentation, and reporting in the member database, while members can log in, update accounts, make payments, and access membership cards through dashboards and mobile apps. The platform also supports branded websites and member portals, event registration and ticketing, email campaigns, group text messaging, surveys, discussion boards, donations, and event payments. API integrations and connections with QuickBooks, FreshBooks, Sage, NetSuite, and PayPal support organizations that need membership activity to connect with financial or operational systems.
Paid tiers add higher campaign email allowances and support differences. Essentials includes a 2% platform fee, 1,000 campaign emails, unlimited survey responses, and standard support. Pro reduces the platform fee to 1% and increases campaign emails to 5,000, while Premium keeps the 1% platform fee, raises campaign emails to 10,000, and adds Prime support. Paid payments also include a processing fee. Groups should choose memberplanet when they want membership, payments, events, communications, and mobile access in one system, while organizations seeking a narrower tool or avoiding transaction-based fees may prefer an alternative.
