Planning spans weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly horizons, making it suited to teams that need to balance demand and capacity across a project portfolio rather than manage individual tasks.
Its strongest functional area is portfolio-level decision-making. Resource, team, and role capacity views combine with allocation visualizations and heatmaps to show workload distribution. Skills-based resource search supports staffing, while what-if scenarios allow teams to compare staffing configurations before making changes.
