Our verdict on Measure

Measure is a revenue management platform for B2B SaaS companies managing usage-based and hybrid billing. It supports event-based metrics for API calls, tokens, transactions, storage, seats, and other usage, with filters, grouping, aggregations, and multiple rating methods. Its broader scope also covers prepaid credits, subscriptions, contracts, invoices, payments, revenue recognition, commissions, and reporting. Established teams with complex revenue operations are the clearest fit, particularly when billing needs extend beyond a simple recurring subscription.

The published plans show a paid offering with no free plan. Launch is for early-stage companies, while Ramp — Year One costs $500 per month and includes the full platform on a month-to-month basis. Ramp — Year Two costs $1,000 per month, and Ramp — Year Three costs $2,000 per month; both include the full platform. Custom is intended for companies with enterprise requirements. This structure gives buyers a defined starting point, but the annual price increases make long-term budgeting important. Teams with straightforward billing or limited billing volume may find the entry cost difficult to justify.

Measure’s ecosystem is suited to finance, sales, payments, and operational workflows. REST API access covers billing objects, while webhooks support customer, subscription, invoice, and payment events. Listed integrations include Stripe, Square, Helcim, Authorize.net, HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Attio, QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, Avalara, and others. The combination of metering, credits, overage billing, automatic invoice generation, payment collection, and revenue calculations gives it meaningful depth for complex monetization models. Choose Measure when those capabilities and integrations are central to operations; choose a simpler or lower-cost billing product when the requirement is limited to basic recurring charges.
