Our verdict on MatHost VPS
MatHost VPS provides KVM virtual private servers hosted in Warsaw, Poland, with full root access, NVMe storage and included DDoS protection through MatShield. It is aimed at solo users, small teams and mid-market organizations that want control over their server environment, particularly when traffic filtering, custom operating-system images or network routing matter. The service runs through a web platform and uses cloud deployment, with 24/7 support available through email, chat, tickets and community channels. GDPR is listed as part of its compliance profile.
The paid lineup has eight named tiers, from 2G through 32G. The 2G plan includes 1 vCPU, 2 GB RAM and 10 GB NVMe; the 4G, 6G and 8G plans scale to 2, 3 and 4 vCPUs with 4, 6 and 8 GB RAM. Higher tiers reach 5 vCPUs and 12 GB RAM on 12G, 6 vCPUs and 16 GB on 16G, 8 vCPUs and 24 GB on 24G, and 10 vCPUs and 32 GB on 32G. Every listed plan includes DDoS protection and 2 Gbps burst bandwidth. Resources can be upgraded with prorated billing.
Operational flexibility is a central strength. Customers can reinstall operating-system images from the customer panel, select from 14 images, and request a free BGP session with each VPS. The vendor also states that new servers start within minutes of payment, while its overview states there is no monthly transfer cap. This setup suits administrators who want root-level control and a broad image catalog. Organizations seeking a managed VPS service, or a free tier for evaluation, should consider another hosting model instead.
