Masthead Data is a data reliability and observability platform for Google Cloud users, with a focus on BigQuery environments. It processes logs and metadata rather than reading customer data, monitoring table freshness, volume anomalies, schema changes, pipeline and model errors, and custom data-quality rules. Column-level lineage, data dictionaries for BigQuery and Looker, alerting, and BigQuery pipeline and table cost insights extend its coverage. Cloud-hosted and self-hosted deployments serve small, mid-market, and enterprise teams working in Google Cloud.
The published plans show a freemium structure. Test Runner costs $0 per GCP project per month and includes automated data observability, no user limits, no access to customer data, and no credit card requirement. Scale-up costs $189 per GCP project per month, billed monthly, adding data and pipeline monitoring plus automated anomaly detection while retaining no user limits and no access to customer data.
