MakeTheBoard is a web-based sales leaderboard and gamification tool for sales managers, revenue teams, startup founders, and distributed teams. It supports rankings based on revenue, deals, calls, demos, or custom KPIs, along with sales contests, SPIFFs, monthly blitzes, quota races, and goal tracking. Teams can update scores manually from phones, laptops, or tablets, or use the developer API to push score updates. Results can appear on office TVs, browser-based displays, phones, and public sharing links.
The pricing structure covers small pilots through larger team programs. The Free plan includes two active boards, 15 participants per board, public sharing links, and real-time updates. Pro costs $24 per month and raises the limits to 25 active boards and 50 participants per board, while adding custom branding, CSV and JSON exports, a developer API, and shared admin access for up to three people. Premium costs $52 per month and supports 100 active boards and 500 participants per board, with unlimited shared admin access, team roles, analytics, and an audit log. A 7-day Pro pass costs $9 one time, and a single-board unlock costs $15 one time.
Platform coverage includes web, iOS, Android, and API access. MakeTheBoard also supports website embeds, smart TVs, Chromecast, Apple TV, Fire Stick, Slack, and Microsoft Teams. Its standalone model does not require CRM integration, which suits teams that want a focused contest and display system without making a CRM connection part of setup. Choose it for flexible, visible contests and KPI tracking across distributed teams; consider another option if your sales operation depends on a required CRM workflow or automated score collection.
