Lutron Caséta pairs a residential lighting-control system with a mobile app for managing compatible lights, shades, and temperature. Available for iOS and Android, the app is aimed at households that want schedules, scenes, and remote control for Caséta devices. It supports multiple homes under one login, and the vendor says lighting control works when Wi-Fi is down. Caséta uses Lutron’s Clear Connect RF technology for device controls; the system is not a general-purpose app for arbitrary smart-home hardware.
