Our verdict on Logib
Logib is a free web-based equal-pay analysis tool from the Federal Office for Gender Equality. It is designed for employers and organisations that need a standalone way to examine gender pay equality and support function-based, gender-neutral pay structures. Module 1 uses multiple regression analysis for medium-sized and large organisations, while Module 2 evaluates functions and employee characteristics for smaller and medium-sized organisations. A separate pay-system application supports the organisation of function-based pay structures.
Its strongest advantage is the breadth of analysis and reporting available without a paid tier. Logib can produce gender pay-gap analyses, interpretations, reports, charts and tables. Excel data-sheet import and export support preparation and reuse of analysis data, while PDF summary export provides a shareable reporting format. Module 1 adds multiple regression analysis, and Module 2 adds function evaluation, giving the tool distinct paths for different organisational sizes and analytical needs. Browser-session data deletion also means entered data is not retained after the session ends unless it is exported.
Logib is a good fit for organisations seeking a focused analysis tool rather than an integrated pay-equity workflow.
