Our verdict on Lizzy Hosting
Lizzy Hosting provides shared web hosting for Australian customers through Bronze, Silver and Gold plans. It is aimed at small websites that need Perl/CGI support alongside PHP, shell access and standard hosting administration. The service runs on shared servers in a tier 1 datacenter and is operated by Australia On Line Pty Ltd. Its web-based setup includes cPanel, FTP access, MySQL databases, email mailboxes, forwarding and web statistics.
Pricing is straightforward, with monthly billing in Australian dollars. Bronze starts at AUD 4.95 per month, Silver costs AUD 6.95 per month, and Gold costs AUD 11.95 per month. The Bronze plan includes 2 GB of storage and 10 GB of monthly data traffic. The published plan structure gives buyers three paid tiers to compare, while the core service positioning centers on shared hosting with Perl, shell access and cPanel. Fantastico is also included as a feature installer.
Lizzy Hosting fits projects that need traditional hosting tools rather than a platform focused on application infrastructure. Perl/CGI, PHP, shell access, FTP and MySQL cover a broad set of established website requirements, while email mailboxes and forwarding keep common site services together. The trade-off is the shared environment and the modest 2 GB storage allocation on Bronze, so it is better suited to small sites than storage-heavy projects or workloads requiring dedicated server control. Choose it for Perl-oriented sites that value cPanel and monthly AUD pricing; consider another hosting model if you need more capacity or isolated resources.
