Our verdict on Little Green Light

Little Green Light is a cloud-based donor management and CRM platform for small and midsized nonprofits. It brings constituent profiles, contact information, giving history, relationships, pledges, events, memberships, volunteer information, online donations, acknowledgments, and reports into one system. Teams can also use customizable online forms to collect information and accept one-time or recurring donations, with submissions synchronized to the donor database. Unlimited users and pricing based on constituent records make it suitable for organizations that want shared access to core fundraising information without adding separate user-seat charges.

The published monthly plans scale by constituent capacity. The plan for up to 2,500 constituents costs $45 per month, followed by $60 for up to 5,000, $75 for up to 10,000, $90 for up to 20,000, $105 for up to 30,000, $120 for up to 40,000, and $135 for up to 50,000 constituents. A 30-day trial is available, but there is no free plan. The structure is straightforward for nonprofits that can estimate their database size, while organizations with growing records should account for the higher monthly tiers as their constituent list expands.

Its ecosystem supports Stripe and PayPal for payments, QuickBooks Online for accounting, Mailchimp and Constant Contact for email, Zapier for automation, and the LGL API for connected workflows. Core donor operations include segmented appeals, multi-criteria constituent searches, email receipts, reminders, thank-you messages, acknowledgments, and pre-built, custom, scheduled, and emailed reports. Little Green Light is a strong fit for small nonprofits seeking practical constituent and fundraising tools with broad workflow connections. Organizations that specifically need a free plan should look elsewhere.
