Our verdict on Lepide Auditor
Lepide Auditor is an IT auditing and change-reporting product for organizations monitoring file servers, directories, cloud platforms, and related systems. It records file and folder creation, access, modification, copying, and deletion, then combines real-time alerts with customizable and pre-defined audit reports. Its audience is primarily Microsoft-heavy security, compliance, and infrastructure teams working across on-premises, cloud, or hybrid environments.
The published plans show three tiers. Core includes detailed interactive audit reports, real-time alerts and threat-response workflows through Lepide Detect, and permissions analysis with excessive-privilege detection through Lepide Trust. Plus includes Core and adds Lepide Identify for data discovery, data-related reporting, and alerts. Advanced includes Plus and adds permissions remediation through Lepide Protect and inactive-user remediation. Licensing is quote-based and priced per user, per year, per supported platform. A 20-day trial is available, but there is no free plan.
