Our verdict on Keeptiva
Keeptiva is a private photo library and cloud backup service for individuals, families, students, and photographers. It stores photos and videos at full original quality, with a free plan providing 20 GB of storage. Its feature set combines everyday backup with organization and sharing: users can search for people, places, and moments, create albums and stories, invite partners to share, and browse memories and timelines. A Locked Folder adds device-biometric access for selected content.
Its standout capability is the verification step before freeing phone space. Keeptiva checks that cloud copies are available before helping users remove local files, while duplicate-upload prevention reduces repeated content in the library. The service also includes lecture OCR and assignment tools, which give students a more specialized reason to consider it than a basic camera-roll backup service. For families, original-quality storage and sharing invitations keep the core experience focused on preserving and accessing personal media.
Keeptiva is available through the web, so it fits users comfortable managing their library in a browser. The 20 GB free allowance is a practical starting point for students and smaller family collections, while photographers or households with extensive video libraries may need more capacity over time. Users who specifically want native mobile or desktop access should consider a service with broader platform coverage. Overall, Keeptiva suits buyers prioritizing original files, verified cloud copies, duplicate prevention, and simple organization; it is less suitable for people seeking a platform built around native apps or large-scale storage needs.
