Our verdict on Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection
Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection is a paid VPN service for people who want encrypted internet traffic, IP address masking, and private browsing across common desktop and mobile platforms. It supports Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS, and is aimed at users who also want streaming access, torrent and file-download support, and protection when using public Wi‑Fi. The service can be purchased as a standalone VPN subscription or bundled with Kaspersky Premium.
Its feature set covers several everyday VPN needs. A kill switch is included, along with split tunneling and automatic fastest-server selection. Streaming and torrent support are listed, while router VPN coverage extends protection beyond individual devices. WireGuard support is also specified. The published service details cover 93 countries, and up to 10 devices can connect simultaneously. That combination makes it a practical fit for households or individuals using multiple phones and computers, although buyers should check activation availability in their country before choosing it.
The main trade-off is its fit within a free VPN category: Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection has no free plan. It offers a seven-day trial, then requires a paid subscription, with pricing varying by region. Users seeking a broad feature set and a short way to evaluate a paid VPN should consider it. Users who specifically need an ongoing free service, rather than a trial, should choose an alternative with a free plan. Its 10-device limit and support for major platforms make the product easier to match to regular personal use than to requirements beyond those stated limits.
