Our verdict on Kapaweb Backorder

Kapaweb Backorder monitors taken Greek domains and attempts registration when they become available. It is designed for domain owners and businesses seeking .gr or .ελ names, including organizations planning around an expiry or release date. The service runs on the web and supports up to 30 simultaneous backorders, while limiting each domain to one backorder. When registration succeeds, the registered domain also includes free DNS.

The published plan uses a one-time €15 service fee for a successful domain backorder. That fee applies only if Kapaweb secures the domain, while the domain registration price is charged separately. Prices exclude 24% VAT. Unsuccessful or cancelled requests still incur a charge, so a missed backorder is not cost-free. Accounts with 501 or more domains receive a 10% backorder-fee discount. This structure suits buyers who prefer a defined service fee tied to a successful registration, provided they also budget for the separate registration cost.

Kapaweb Backorder is strongest when the target is a Greek country-code domain and the priority is automated monitoring through release. Its scope is intentionally narrow: searches cover .gr and .ελ only, and the service does not provide an auction when multiple parties pursue the same name. One-backorder-per-domain rules also limit duplicate attempts within the service. Choose it for focused Greek-domain catching with a pay-on-success model; consider an alternative if you need broader top-level-domain coverage, auction handling, or a fully refundable miss policy.
