KanBo is a work coordination and productivity platform for teams managing tasks, projects, documents, communication, and business processes. It is aimed at self-organizing teams and larger organizations that need multiple ways to view work, including Kanban, list, calendar, timeline, Gantt, dashboards, analytics, workload, roadmaps, and portfolio views. The free plan includes task management, flexible status workflows, Kanban lanes, list and calendar views, and notifications, giving teams a starting point for structured work coordination.
KanBo’s six license tiers add progressively broader planning and control features. Team adds Gantt, timeline, and mind map views, along with card templates, folder hierarchy, and custom fields. Professional adds analytics, space templates, card mirroring, card sharing, OneDrive documents, and approvals. Business adds dashboards, forecast charts, rule-based status workflows, time tracking assistance, and other work controls. Enterprise adds on-premises installation, a business intelligence API, Gantt baselines, resource assignment, workload views, and time budgets. Strategic extends the planning layer with advanced analytics, expense budgets, scenarios, Portfolio Designer, project reports, and roadmaps. The published plans show a contact-sales pricing model.
