Our verdict on JobTestPrep
JobTestPrep provides online preparation materials for candidates facing recruitment and aptitude assessments. Its catalog spans cognitive aptitude, personality, public safety, employer-specific, and other job-related tests, making it relevant to applicants whose hiring process may involve more than one assessment type. Materials are purchased as preparation packs and accessed through a web browser. The company says it has operated since 1992; that history is a useful context, but buyers should focus on whether a specific pack matches the assessment they expect to take.
The study workflow can include diagnostic tests to identify weaker subjects, followed by subject-specific practice tests and targeted drills. Some packs also offer timed full-length simulations, study guides, video tutorials, step-by-step answer explanations, and performance tracking. These features can support focused revision and exam-style practice, but availability depends on the course, so compare the contents of the relevant pack rather than assuming every course includes the full set. This breadth suits applicants who want both general aptitude preparation and material tailored to particular job-related assessments.
According to the vendor's description, plans are one-time purchases and access periods vary by product; prices also vary by pack and term. That model avoids an ongoing subscription, but makes it important to check the pack's access period and included materials before purchasing. Support is offered through tickets and documentation, with 24/7 support indicated. JobTestPrep is a fit for solo applicants who want structured practice across assessment types, especially where diagnostics and timed simulations are available. It is less suitable for someone seeking a free plan, a non-web learning platform, or one consistent feature set across every course.
