Jatayu 3D is a browser-based 3D CAD viewer from ATHIVEX for engineers, manufacturing teams, suppliers, students, and enterprise users. It supports interactive assembly exploration with rotation, zoom, pan, part isolation, exploded views, wireframe, and transparency modes. The free Student edition includes a WebGL viewer, STEP, STL, and IGES support, basic slicing, distance measurement, and desktop and mobile access. It is suited to teams that need to inspect and discuss engineering models without focusing on full CAD authoring.
The product’s strongest area is model review depth. Users can apply live slicing planes, including advanced multi-plane slicing, and measure distance, angle, wall thickness, and bounding boxes.
