IT Portal is a documentation and knowledge-base platform for managed service providers and internal IT departments. It brings together searchable procedures, how-to articles, credentials, configurations, devices, diagrams, relationships, and documentation gap tracking. Teams can access it through the web, iOS, Android, API, or self-hosted deployment, making it suited to organizations managing multi-site or multi-client IT environments.

Pricing is paid and billed monthly. The published plans show $20 per user per month for 20–35 users, $700 per month for 36–50 users, $14 per user per month for 51–100 users, and $1,400 per month for 100–125 users. The 126+ user tier includes guided onboarding, API access, and password management. Annual billing includes a 20% yearly discount at checkout. The platform also provides a wide integration set, including ConnectWise, Autotask, HaloPSA, NinjaOne, Kaseya, Atera, SolarWinds, Datto RMM, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, SAML, REST API, and VMware.

IT Portal is most compelling when documentation must connect with operational systems rather than sit in a standalone wiki. Password management, device import and discovery, Microsoft 365 file editing, mobile access, audit logs, permissions, two-factor authentication, encryption, exports, and offline backups support structured IT operations. Choose it if your team needs documentation, credentials, discovery, integrations, and controls in one product. A smaller team seeking only a simple article library may find its wider scope and tiered pricing harder to justify.

IT Portal pros and cons

  • Where it wins
    • Searchable procedures, runbooks, credentials, diagrams, and device records
    • Integrations with PSA, RMM, Microsoft 365, Teams, and authentication tools
    • Audit logs, granular permissions, two-factor authentication, and encryption
  • Where it doesn't
    • No free plan for teams evaluating the platform
    • Monthly pricing changes across user bands and billing structures
    • The broad feature set may exceed the needs of simple documentation teams
