IRIS Star Practice Management is modular software for large and multi-office CPA and accounting firms. It centralizes client, staff, job, work-in-progress, and accounts-receivable information, then adds configurable forms, fields, reports, workflow modules, billing approvals, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance tools. Browser and mobile access support time and expense recording, while API coverage supports connections with other systems. Firms seeking one operating layer across practice administration and resource planning are the clearest fit.
Resource planning is a central strength. Staff scheduling, allocation, availability views, and resource forecasting work alongside staff and project budgets for time and expenses. The product also covers WIP allocation, recurring billing, invoice generation, and billing approvals, giving firms a connected path from recorded work to invoicing. Web-based business intelligence reporting and dashboards add visibility for operational reviews.
