Insightful is an employee time-tracking and workforce analytics platform for office, remote, and hybrid teams. It combines automatic activity tracking with manual time entries, timesheets, attendance capture, project and task tracking, billable-hours reporting, and work-location insights. Teams can review app and website usage, screenshots, departments, locations, projects, and tasks through a web platform supported on Windows, macOS, and Linux. Its feature set suits organizations that need operational visibility as well as conventional time records.
Pricing is structured around three published annual-billing tiers. Workforce Analytics costs $8 per seat per month and includes attendance tracking, activity tracking, screenshots, time tracking, app and website usage, and an AI Adoption Report. Workflow Optimization costs $12 per seat per month and adds workflow mapping, tracking, measurement, and process analysis. The Combo Plan costs $16 per seat per month and combines both capability groups. Enterprise offers a custom plan with tailored deployment and an on-premise option. A 7-day free trial is available. These tiers make the product a fit for teams that want to expand from time capture into workforce or workflow analysis.
Integration breadth is a notable strength. Insightful connects with identity and workplace systems such as Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace, and JumpCloud; analytics tools such as BigQuery; project tools including Jira, Asana, Trello, ClickUp, Basecamp, and Monday.com; and HR platforms including BambooHR, HiBob, Zoho People, and Workday. Private cloud and on-premise deployment support environments with specific hosting requirements. However, the platform is less suitable for mobile-first or location-centric operations because it has no mobile apps or GPS tracking, and payroll integrations are marked Coming Soon.
