Inkit is a cloud platform for generating, signing, storing, and managing business documents, with direct-mail workflows for letters and postcards. It is suited to organizations that need document templates, variable data, signatures, approvals, records management, and domestic USPS first-class or standard mail options. The platform is positioned for government, finance, legal, and healthcare workflows, while its web and API access support both browser-based and developer-led processes.

Pricing covers several usage levels. The Free plan costs $0 per user per month and includes three signature requests per month, one seat, and 10GB of storage. Personal costs $15 per user per month with monthly billing or $20 with annual billing; it adds unlimited signature requests and 100GB of storage while retaining one seat. Standard costs $25 monthly or $30 annually per user and adds unlimited seats, unlimited templates, and 1TB of storage per user. Enterprise includes unlimited signatures, seats, templates, workflow automation, API automation, and 1TB of storage per user. A 30-day trial is also available.

Inkit’s strongest fit is a document-centered operation that also needs mail-piece generation, rather than a narrow mailing tool. Merge fields, address verification, document-generation endpoints, mail-piece status endpoints, signature tracking, reminders, handoffs, retention, and immutable audit logs cover a broad workflow from creation through recordkeeping. Microsoft and Salesforce are listed integrations. Organizations focused on international delivery, additional mail formats, or a mailing-first workflow should consider an alternative; teams needing affordable document automation with domestic letters or postcards should find the Free, Personal, or Standard tiers more aligned with their needs.

Inkit pros and cons

  • Where it wins
    • Free plan and 30-day trial lower the barrier to entry.

  • Where it doesn't
    • Direct-mail formats are limited to letters and postcards.
    • Delivery scope is domestic.
    • Enterprise-only workflow and API automation has no published price.
