Our verdict on Infinity Generation
Infinity Generation is procedural-generation software for game developers and artists building dynamic 3D worlds and content. Infinity Creator provides a visual node-graph editor for designing procedural systems, while Infinity Engine runs those systems during gameplay. Its scope includes terrain, vegetation, planets, meshes, textures, materials, and other procedural content. The product is aimed at teams that need runtime generation, reusable seeds, custom assets, and deployment across more than one game engine.
The free Alpha includes core components, a stable release branch, community and email support, self-serve documentation, and export for generated scenes, models, and textures. Its main technical depth comes from combining node-based authoring with runtime generation, procedural Perlin, Simplex, and Cellular noise, direct seed control, and a 3D scene viewer for models, terrain, materials, textures, and skyboxes. This gives developers a way to inspect and reuse generated content while retaining control over how systems produce it. Enterprise adds bespoke procedural components, available source code access and licensing, priority direct support, dedicated engineering and integration support, plus pinned versions and long-term support.
Engine coverage is a central reason to consider Infinity Generation. Deployment packaging and export support extend to Unity, Unreal Engine, Godot, and custom game engines, while the SDK allows teams to create custom procedural components. Project asset management supports filesystem or engine-database asset loading, which fits projects that need procedural output alongside existing assets. The main limitation is platform scope: the free Alpha is currently distributed for Windows, and Enterprise pricing is custom. Choose Infinity Generation for multi-engine procedural world systems that need runtime generation and seed reuse; choose an alternative if you need a broader desktop platform range or a simpler, narrowly focused map editor.
