Our verdict on HyCanvas
HyCanvas is a browser-based visual design platform for teams creating graphics, presentations, videos, whiteboards, documents and spreadsheets. Its canvas editor supports shapes, lines, charts, QR codes, text and image effects, while templates, brand kits and workspace collections help organize recurring work. Presentation mode includes transitions, animations and presenter tools. The product fits teams that want one workspace for visual communication, especially those that value self-hosting and control over their data.
Its feature breadth is the main reason to consider it. Teams can import SVG and PDF files, edit images, remove backgrounds and use export tools alongside templates and shared brand controls. Collaboration includes presence cursors, locks, comments and approvals.
