HostupCloud Object Storage is a pay-as-you-go, S3-compatible cloud storage service for developers and businesses. It supports backups, application data, analytics, archiving, and digital asset storage through a web interface and API. The service is hosted from HostupCloud’s Bangalore data center and is positioned for small teams through enterprise organizations that want S3 tooling without committing to a single storage class.

Pricing is divided into three plans. Nearline Access costs $0.005 per GiB per month and uses HDD storage, with free retrieval and 512 GiB of monthly free egress. Standard Object Storage costs $0.007 per GiB per month with SATA SSD storage, free retrieval, and 256 GiB of monthly free egress. Performance Object Storage costs $0.015 per GiB per month with NVMe SSD storage, free retrieval, and 256 GiB of monthly free egress. Prices are in USD, exclude GST, and use hourly billing with monthly pricing based on 730 hours. Free API requests and ingress are included.

The platform fits workflows built around S3-compatible tools, including AWS SDKs for Node.js, Python, Go, and Java, plus AWS CLI, rclone, s3cmd, Terraform, and MinIO Client. Its feature set covers multipart uploads, presigned URLs, lifecycle auto-expiry, granular bucket permissions, AES-256 encryption at rest, and TLS 1.3 in transit. Support is available through email, chat, tickets, community resources, and documentation, with 24/7 support listed. Choose it for cost-conscious tiered storage and established S3 workflows; teams requiring versioning, object locking, or immutability should compare alternatives.
