Hoststar provides shared Linux web hosting for individuals, small businesses, and web professionals. Its packages combine SSD or NVMe storage with website and domain management through My Panel, email accounts, databases, SSL certificates, backups, and file access. The service is a fit for established sites that need more than basic page hosting, especially when email, multiple websites, cloud storage, and application support belong in the same hosting account. Hoststar has operated since 1996 and is based in Fraubrunnen, Bern, Switzerland.
The three paid plans scale mainly by storage, website capacity, and access features. StarEntry includes 100 GB SSD storage, 10 websites, unlimited email accounts, daily data backup, free SSL certificates, and My Panel; its regular starting price is CHF 14.90 per month. StarBiz raises storage to 200 GB and the website limit to 50, while adding unlimited databases and SSH access. StarPlus provides 250 GB NVMe storage, supports 150 websites, and adds premium support alongside SSH access.
