Hostney is managed WordPress hosting for growing businesses, professional websites, agencies, and site owners. Its platform runs on the web and through an API, with one-click WordPress deployment, WordPress staging environments, migration tools, SSH access, and a web terminal. An AI assistant is also included for managing WordPress and hosting operations. For Ruby application teams, the product’s WordPress-centered design makes it a poor category fit.
The paid plans are organized around website count, storage, caching, and backup history. Startup covers one website and 10 GB of storage, with managed WordPress, staging, daily backups, and real-time malware protection. Advanced expands to five websites and 20 GB of storage, adding 14 days of backup history plus Memcached and Redis object cache. Pro supports 10 websites and 40 GB of storage, with 30 days of backup history and the same object-cache options. The published pricing shows a 14-day free trial, while the plans are charged annually at monthly-equivalent rates.
Hostney’s strongest area is operational WordPress management.
