Our verdict on Hide it Pro
Hide it Pro is a privacy vault for people who want to protect more than photos. It can hide photos, videos, music, apps, messages, calls and other files, with access options that include a PIN, password, pattern or fingerprint. The app can also disguise itself as a functional Audio Manager, organize content into hidden folders, and provide built-in viewing tools such as a gallery, slideshow and video player. Support spans Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and Chrome, making it suitable for users who move private content across mobile and desktop environments.
Its strongest distinction is breadth. Alongside vault storage, Hide it Pro includes private notes, a browser, chat and app-lock tools, plus integrations with WhatsApp, WeChat, Facebook, VLC and MPlayerX. The escape unlock code can make the vault appear empty, adding a separate access scenario for users who want the app to reveal a blank state. Cloud backup is also available, and the Cloud Storage plan highlights cloud backup and unlimited cloud storage. The published product information presents the free version as unlimited for verified free items, while cloud storage is handled separately.
Choose Hide it Pro if your privacy needs extend across media, apps, messages and other files, or if cross-platform access matters. Its disguise, categorization and escape-access features give it a wider privacy scope than a photo-only locker. Choose an alternative if your priority is a photo vault centered on more complete decoy and intruder protections, or if you want only a focused photo-hiding tool without the additional private utilities. The product fits users seeking a broad personal-content vault rather than a narrowly focused gallery locker.
